We won’t say this film was easy to watch. In fact, its quiet solitude made it immensely unsettling. For those among you who crave constant action, this is not the film for you. For those who love detail and raw beauty, “Meek’s Cutoff” offered up an honest portrayal of hardship in the struggle of the Oregon Trail. Almost any movie-goer would be stunned by the stark landscapes, the gorgeous sweeping cinematography, and the sharp directing by Kelly Reichardt who brought us “Old Joy” and “Wendy and Lucy“.

Troll 2 (1990)

A family vacationing in a small town discovers the entire town is inhabited by trolls, who plan to eat them. -IMDB

Troll 2 has been called by some the worst movie ever made, and in fact it just may be (with a potential contender being Plan 9 from Outer Space). Why would I want to watch the worst movie ever made, you ask? Simple. The camp factor.

Yes, and to be more specific (enter camp value) the trolls are vegetarians who must first turn the people into plants before eating them. It’s all very complicated and logical.

The other little tidbit you should know? There are no actual trolls in the movie, every last one of them is a goblin. The movie was titled “Troll 2″ to try and capitalize off of an earlier film that had nothing to do with this one.

Recommendation is to go and get lots of candy and lots of friends and stuff your face between bouts of uproarious laughter.
